WATERTOWN, MASS. (November 2, 2016) – On Friday, November 4 at 9:30pm, the CatholicTV Network will broadcast Icon of Love, a new documentary about the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

The Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help has been in the care of the Redemptorists since 1866, when they were tasked with making Mary known throughout the world. This year, as part of the jubilee celebration of the 150th anniversary of this mission, the Redemptorists produced the film Icon of Love to detail the history and significance of the Icon.

The film is hosted by Father Philip Dabney, C.Ss.R. Father Dabney is a parochial vicar at Boston’s Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (also called Mission Church), which houses one of the first replicas of the Icon in the United States. Father Dabney is a frequent celebrant of CatholicTV’s Daily Mass, and he also prays the Network’s Perpetual Help Novena.

Tune in for this special presentation of Icon of Love on Friday, November 4 at 9:30pm or Saturday, November 5 at 1pm. The broadcast will be available on cable, CatholicTVLIVE.com, Apple TV, Roku, or your mobile device.
