WATERTOWN, MASS. (April 19, 2016) – The 39th Annual Boston/New England Emmy® nominations were announced on April 8, 2016 and CatholicTV is proud to announce that our own Matt Weber has been nominated for a New England Emmy award.

The Lens host Matt Weber picked up a Commentator/Editorialist nomination for his segment on The Lens called "Religiously Ticked Off."

"I share the excitement of this nomination with the incredibly talented people of The Lens, from my talented co-hosts Helen and Charles, to our genius editor Adam and great producers/directors Kevin, Peter, and of course Jay Fadden and Fr. Reed. This is a huge honor for CatholicTV, regardless of whether we actually win," said Matt.

Father Robert Reed, president of the CatholicTV Network, expressed his pleasure with the news and said: "With The CatholicTV Network as a platform and Matt Weber's style and depth of Faith exhibited, I'm thrilled that The Lens and this segment has been recognized."

CatholicTV would like to congratulate our nominee, who will be attending the Emmy award ceremony with friends, family, and colleagues, scheduled to be held on June 4 at Westin Copley Place in Boston, Mass.

The Lens premieres biweekly on Mondays at 9pm ET. Full episodes can be viewed on demand at CatholicTV.com/shows/the-lens.
