The CatholicTV Network Announces New Winter Programming Schedule

WATERTOWN, MA (December 30, 2013) The CatholicTV Network will debut its new winter programming schedule in January 2014.

The new winter schedule will begin with a special premiere of the CatholicTV Networks’ new show, Inter Nos, on January 3, 2014. Inter Nos is hosted by the CatholicTV Network president, Father Reed. Fr. Reed engages guests in conversations about faith, work, and how they incorporate faith in their daily lives.

The CatholicTV Network to air Installation of Archbishop Leonard Blair

WATERTOWN, MA (December 11, 2013) – Bishop Leonard Blair will be installed as the fifth Archbishop of Hartford, Connecticut on Monday, December 16, 2013, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph. The CatholicTV Network will air the installation LIVE at 2PM ET and will rebroadcast the event that evening at 9PM.

Bishop Blair has been the bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Toledo, Ohio, since 2003. He was ordained a priest in 1976 and succeeds Archbishop Henry J. Mansell, who has been the Archbishop of Hartford since December 2003.

The CatholicTV Network to Broadcast Pope Francis’ Visit to Assisi Mass LIVE

WATERTOWN, MA (October 3, 2013) On Friday, October 4, 2013, The CatholicTV Network will broadcast Pope Francis’ visit to Assisi Mass LIVE at 4AM ET. The Mass will rebroadcast at 1PM and 8PM ET.

 On the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, Pope Francis will visit the birthplace of his namesake and follow in the saint’s footsteps by meeting with sick and disabled children at the Seraphic Institute of Assisi. Pope Francis will meet with young people and the poor throughout his visit, and will make a private visit to the Hermitage of the Prisons, where he will pray in St. Francis' cell.
