At every Mass, a miracle. Sometimes, you can see it.

At every Catholic Mass, simple gifts of bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. But throughout history there have been moments when that hidden reality became visible, in ways no one present could explain.

Praesentia (Latin for “presence”) gathers those stories, from an 8th-century monastery in Italy to parishes in Mexico and Poland in our own century, and asks what they reveal about a God who remains present to His Church, always.

YOUR GUIDE

Rachel Bulman

Catholic author and speaker Rachel Bulman walks through each story with warmth and wonder: what happened, what the Church says about it, and why it still matters for anyone who has ever knelt at Mass and wondered.

What is a Eucharistic miracle?

An extraordinary event connected to the Eucharist, such as a host that appears as flesh or blood, that the Church has investigated and found worthy of belief. Each one points back to the Real Presence of Christ at every Mass.
