Cathedral of Saint Paul | Minnesota

Catholic Destinations

Kevin Nelson hosts this episode of Catholic Destinations with Peter Kaminski and Rchard Brown on camera. Cathedral of Saint Paul is the National Shrine of the Apostle Paul. It was the dream of Archbishop John Ireland and designed by architect E.L. Masqueray. The cornerstone was laid in 1907 and the first Mass held in March of 1915, but work continued on the interior for decades. The cathedral dominates the city's skyline and is situated on the highest point in downtown Saint Paul.
