Visio Divina: Praying With Art

In this episode of CatholicTV’s Praying with Art, host Katie Weiss guides viewers through a meditation on "The Flight Into Egypt" by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo. In it we see Mary and Joseph holding the Christ child as they flee to Egypt. An angel lays prostrate before them and a boatman is bowed in prayer in the background. Through this painting we will ponder the deep trust in God that Mary & Joseph possessed. The accompanying scripture passage for this episode is Matthew 2:13-15.
